Partho Sengupta is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans advertising, illustration, photography, cartoons, animation, and immersive art. With over three decades in the creative industry, he has crafted a distinctive voice rooted in storytelling and visual experimentation.

A graduate of Government College of Art & Craft, Kolkata, Partho began his career at Lintas and went on to work with leading global agencies including Grey, DDB Mudra, Dentsu, BBDO, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Hakuhodo. He has created over 60 advertising films and numerous brand campaigns, collaborating internationally with top creative talent.

He currently serves as National Creative Head at The Times of India. His widely followed cartoon strip Jest in Case, co-created with Jug Suraiya, has earned a global audience.

Beyond advertising, his art practice explores mixed media, installations, and material-led storytelling. His experimental animation films were screened at the Bombay International Film Festival, and his work continues to evolve across formats.

An art advisor to Rashtrapati Bhawan and an active mentor, Partho engages with the next generation through lectures and workshops at leading institutions across India.
